Our Purpose

To insure the election/appointment of Democratic Women to positions of authority in all branches of government.
To promote the advancement of women in both the private and public sectors.
To promote the fundamental principles for which the Democratic Party traditionally and historically stands – a government responsive and responsible to the people
To provide for the people, through its administration, the highest degree of justice and social welfare

Our Goals

To contribute to the growth and influence of the Democratic Party
To increase the political and governmental education of women
To develop leadership
To Encourage and Support Women Candidates
To aggressively support the campaign of nominees and the platform of the Democratic Party

Women's Club of Lancaster City-County was organized in 1928 and chartered in 1942 by the Pennsylvania Federation of Democratic Women. LCDWA is also affiliated with the Lancaster County Democrats
